Russian foreign minister visits Tehran; countries vow to expand cooperation

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has hosted his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov for talks on a host of issues, including bilateral economic ties.

The top Russian diplomat’s visit to Tehran comes as both countries face Western-imposed sanctions.
