A far-right Israeli minister has called for immediate execution of a controversial plan to forcibly remove Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, rejecting the idea of "voluntary" evacuation.

Israeli Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi supported Gazans' evacuation as a “deportation plan” in a post on the X platform on Tuesday, attacking Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara for allegedly seeking a legal review of the initiative.

He emphasized that the regime’s efforts to evacuate Palestinians from Gaza will be implemented through force rather than voluntary means.

During a tense cabinet meeting on Monday, Baharav-Miara urged ministers to consult her for legal guidance regarding US President Donald Trump’s controversial suggestion to forcibly relocate Palestinians from Gaza to other countries.

Earlier on Saturday, Israeli far-right finance minister Bezalel Smotrich, known for his racist remarks about Palestinians, expressed hope that the relocation of the Palestinian population from Gaza would start within weeks.

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a statement on Monday said that he was “committed to US President’s plan for the creation of a different Gaza.”

He also claimed that “neither Hamas nor the Palestinian Authority” would be ruling the besieged Palestinian territory following the war.

The harsh rhetoric has drawn criticism within the Israeli regime, with former military officials warning that such statements could hinder negotiations.

Israel Ziv, a former head of operations for the Israeli military, expressed concern that the regime’s aggressive stance was pushing Hamas to postpone captives' release.

The recent remarks stand in stark contrast to previous claims by Netanyahu and extremist former minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who attempted to frame the "ethnic cleansing" of Palestinians as merely "voluntary migration."

Meanwhile, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in his recent remarks on Monday dismissed the US-Israeli plan to displace Gazans as "foolish," saying it will fail just like their attempts to eliminate resistance in Gaza.

"These plans will lead nowhere. Those who vowed to eliminate resistance within a short time a year and a half ago, now receive their prisoners from small groups of resistance fighters in exchange for a big number of Palestinians," he said.

The renewed push for expulsion follows Trump's recent comments advocating for the takeover of Gaza and the relocation of its 2.4 million Palestinian residents to neighboring countries like Jordan and Egypt.

The controversial proposal has faced significant global backlash, with both Cairo and Amman firmly rejecting the overt scheme. In response, the Trump administration has warned Egypt and Jordan of potential consequences if they refuse to accept the displaced population.
