Israel ceasefire violations

Israeli forces continue to violate the Gaza ceasefire agreement by fatally shooting more Palestinians across the blockaded territory. The Palestinian Health Ministry says four people were killed by the regime’s forces in new truce violations. Nearly 60 others were injured. In addition, 68 bodies were recovered from the rubble during a period of 24 hours. The ministry added that more than 10,000 Palestinians still remain trapped under the rubble after over 15 months of Gaza genocide. It said the figure is expected to rise as search efforts continue to locate those unaccounted for. The ministry noted that the Israeli aggression killed more than 4,000 Palestinians in northern Gaza alone. The regime’s onslaught, which began in October 2023, has killed more than 47,100 civilians, leaving over 111,000 others injured. Palestinian and international organizations say the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

Israel West Bank raids

At least, four Israeli settlers have been injured in another anti-regime operation in Tel Aviv. According to media reports, the assailant, who was an American citizen of Moroccan origin, was shot dead by the regime forces. No further details have been published regarding the attack. The incident followed Israel’s violent aggression against the occupied West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp earlier in the day. The brutal raid left at least 10 Palestinians dead and scores of others injured. The Israeli raid came after the withdrawal of the Palestinian Authority’s security forces from the camp. Tensions have been on the rise across the occupied territories since the onset of the Israeli genocide in Gaza in October 2023. Over 800 Palestinians have lost their lives in the regime's attacks since then.

Rejecting Trump threats

Territorial claims raised by American President Donald Trump, and his threat to impose tariffs on US neighbors have drawn sharp reactions from those countries.Responding to Trump's comments about bringing Greenland under US control, its prime minister said the people of Greenland do not want to be Americans. Mute Egede added that the future of Greenland, which is a Danish autonomous territory, will be decided by its own people. Denmark's Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen also rejected Trump's comments, saying no country should be able to simply help themselves to another country. Meanwhile, Canada and Mexico reacted to Trump's threat to impose 25-percent punitive tariffs on them. Canada vowed a strong response to Trump, saying everything is on the table. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau added that Ottawa's reaction would be robust and rapid and measured. Canada’s provincial and opposition leaders have also called for blocking exports of oil, electricity and critical minerals to the US. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, for her part, downplayed Trump’s threat, citing the free trade agreement that exists between the three countries.
