Yemen’s Armed Forces have fired hypersonic ballistic missile and drone towards the city of Yaffa near Tel Aviv, striking their intended target accurately.
The operations took place on Friday, using a Palestine-2 projectile and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
“The Missile Force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation targeting an enemy-linked power station east of the occupied area of Yaffa, using a hypersonic ballistic missile, type ‘Palestine 2,’” the forces said in a statement.
“It (the missile) has successfully hit its target,” they added.
“The UAVs force of the Yemeni Armed Forces [also] carried out a military operation targeting a military target in the occupied area Yaffa, using a ‘Yaffa’ drone, and it achieved its target successfully.”
The forces described the operation as a manifestation of “triumphing for the Palestinian people and their Mujahideen (Fighters), and in response to the massacres against our people in Gaza, and within the fifth phase of the supportive stages in the battle of the Promised Conquest and the Holy Jihad (Struggle) and in retaliation to the aggression against our country.”
The troops began launching their operations against Israeli targets last October in support of the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, which have respectively come under a war of genocide and escalated deadly assaults by the Israeli regime.
The successful strikes were both preceded and followed by intensified deadly aggression by the regime and the United States, its biggest ally, against the Yemeni territory.
The forces have been responding by ramping up their strikes against strategic and sensitive Israeli and American targets, including the US warships and aircraft carriers that are deployed off Yemen’s coastline.
“The Yemeni Armed Forces confirm their readiness to face any foolishness of the American and Israeli aggression forces or those involved with them from any other parties, and [confirm] that they are able to defend beloved Yemen, its sovereignty and its legitimate rights,” the troops noted.
They vowed to keep up their operations as long as the regime sustained its aggression and a simultaneous smothering siege that it has been deploying against Gaza.
The forces, meanwhile, renewed their call on “all the free people of our Arab and Islamic nations to take serious action in order to stop the Israeli massacres against our people in Gaza.”
