US-Israeli Gaza genocide

Israel’s air and artillery strikes kill more civilians in the Gaza Strip, as the regime presses ahead with its genocidal war across the besieged territory. One of the latest attacks targeted civilians west of Gaza City, killing at least one civilian and injuring several others. Two Palestinians were killed, and several others injured after an airstrike targeted a tent sheltering displaced people northwest of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. Two more Palestinians were killed in the Israeli bombing of an area in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Yunis. The explosion of unexploded ordnance left behind by Israeli forces killed a young Palestinian in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza. Five civilians were also killed in an airstrike targeting a workshop southeast of Gaza City. Earlier, Israeli strikes hit multiple areas in northern and southern Gaza, leaving more than a dozen civilians dead. Meanwhile, the regime issued new evacuation orders, ordering thousands of residents in numerous neighborhoods of Khan Yunis to leave ahead of imminent bombardments. The death toll from the Israeli genocide is now near 51,000, with over 116,000 others injured.

Gaza ceasefire efforts

The Hamas resistance movement says the Israeli regime seeks to narrow down the ongoing Gaza ceasefire negotiations in Cairo to a limited prisoner exchange deal. A senior Hamas official, Basem Naim, said the movement rejects any agreement that does not lead to a permanent halt to Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza. He stressed that Hamas would not allow talks to become a cover for resuming aggression and massacres in Gaza following a temporary pause in the regime’s attacks. Naim said Hamas, however, will remain committed to a broader agreement that would include a complete Israeli military withdrawal from Gaza, and the reconstruction of the territory. His comments came after a Hamas delegation arrived in Cairo for negotiations mediated by Egypt and Qatar. The new round of talks is aimed at ending over 16 months of Gaza genocide. The reopening of Gaza’s crossings to allow the inflow of humanitarian aid is also among the main topics of discussions.

Yemen retaliatory operations

The Yemeni army shoots down another American drone, after conducting successful missile and drone attacks on Israeli targets in the occupied territories.
