Hezbollah hits Tel Aviv
The Hezbollah resistance movement has launched new retaliatory operations against Israel, this time hitting the city of Tel Aviv with missiles. According to the regime’s media, Ben Gurion airport has been closed and power outage reported in some areas of Tel Aviv. Multiple explosions were reported in the city following four missiles hit Tel Aviv, one of which struck near a shopping complex. Six Israelis have been injured, including a woman, who is in critical condition. Another missile has reportedly hit Ramat Gan, causing additional injuries. A building and a bus were also struck, igniting a big fire. Hezbollah said it has also targeted sensitive military sites in Tel Aviv with a squadron of specialized strike drones. The group also fired a rocket at Shfaram, east of the city of Haifa, which hit a building, killing a woman, and injuring 10 other people. Israeli media admitted that the regime’s missile defense systems failed to intercept Hezbollah’s missiles. The movement also hit regime’s military bases, troops’ gathering points and settlements with drones and rocket barrages.
US-Israeli genocide in Gaza
Israel's relentless genocidal war continues across the Gaza Strip, causing more civilian casualties and destruction of infrastructure across the besieged territory. One of the latest raids hit a house west of Gaza City, killing at least a dozen Palestinians, mostly women and children. In central Gaza, an Israeli airstrike killed at least eight people in the Nuseirat refugee camp. A family of four was also killed in a strike on a tent for displaced people in the southern city of Khan Yunis. Over half a dozen Palestinians died in an airstrike on Beit Lahia, where an earlier air raid had killed at least 17 civilians. The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza said new cases of malnutrition have arrived at the hospital, including several children in critical condition. He added that many wounded people are losing their lives due to lack of medical supplies amid Israel’s complete siege. The regime’s genocide has killed nearly 44,000 Palestinians so far, leaving about 103,900 others injured.
Onslaught on Gaza
A senior UN official warns that more than a year of Israeli genocide in Gaza has caused massive destruction and heavy losses that will reverberate for generations. The UN special coordinator, Tor Wennesland, described the humanitarian situation in Gaza, especially its north, as catastrophic, due to large-scale displacement of people and widespread destruction. He stressed that the current conditions in Gaza are among the worst seen during the entire war, with no prospects for improvement. He condemned Israel’s decision to ban the activities of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees. Wennesland said as a result of the regime’s decision, the institutional framework for supporting the Palestinian people is on the verge of collapse. The official also slammed Israel’s "disturbing disregard for international humanitarian law". Wennesland urged the international community to mobilize the tools and set a timetable needed to end the Israeli onslaught on Gaza.
