Labour Party and Zionism have collaborated for over a century

It seems Labour leader Keir Starmer is betting on the Israel lobby to deliver him to power in the general elections even in the midst of Zionist genocide in Gaza.

There is a historical precedent for this point of view, when we examine a little known aspect of Tony Blair's election success in 1997.

Tony Blair is responsible for having set the precedent for dodgy donations to the Labour Party from Zionist extremists during his tenure as UK prime minister.

When Tony Blair was Shadow Home Secretary, under John Smith, in the early 1990s, he was introduced to Israel lobbyist Michael Levy by Israeli embassy officer Gideon Meir.

In the years to come, Levy would become known as 'Lord Cashpoint' for his ability to fundraise for Blair.

However, at the exact same time he was fundraising for Blair, Levy was fundraising for Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak.

Levy's son, Daniel, was also an Israeli employee working for the Israeli justice minister, Yossi Beilin.

Levy then proceeded to raise money for Blair, securing contributions from influential pro-Israel lobbyists, such as Westfield Chairman, Frank Lowy, himself, a former Haganah fighter, Emmanuel Kaye of Labour Friends of Israel, and, Trevor Shin.

Additionally, Formula One boss, Bernie Eccleston, gave a £1 million payment to Labour through lobbyist Lord Levy, which had to be returned to prevent accusations of receiving cash in exchange for favors.

Thanks to tireless work by Levy, Tony Blair rose to the top of the Labour Party and won the election in 1997.

He went on to serve his US imperialist master loyally as well as work hard to extend the Zionist Trojan horse on the peace process in Palestine.

After exiting Downing Street, Blair was selected to be a patron of the largest settlement body in occupied Palestine, the JNF, alongside Israel's president and prime minister.

However, at the same time, Blair, the so-called 'Peace Envoy to Palestine', was regularly meeting with the Palestinian Authority.

His wife, Cherie Blair, who had previously been outspoken against Israel, became an ethical adviser to the Israeli intelligence company, the NSO group, responsible for the infamous Pegasus spyware.

As someone who consults with Tony Blair about the direction of Labour, perhaps Starmer envisions a similar trajectory for himself.
