Taliban say women’s rights ‘protected’ in Afghanistan

In Afghanistan, the Taliban say their government is protecting the rights of all citizens, in particular women and girls.

The group says it has created a safe and secure environment for Afghan women. However, some activists say there are still serious challenges for women.
