Israel Genocide in Gaza

Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip knows no boundaries as the regime continues to target schools, shelters and hospitals, killing more women and children. Gaza’s Health Ministry says the regime’s forces are now opening fire on Kamal Adwan hospital, targeting patient rooms and courtyards. The ministry says the attack has endangered the lives of 12 children in pediatric care who are already deprived of milk and life support equipment. The attack comes after Israeli forces laid a heavy siege on the hospital. The ministry added that Israeli forces have detained director of Kamal Adwan hospital and other staff members, torturing them and depriving them of food and drink. In another act of war crime, the regime’s forces carried out a brutal execution-style massacre of numerous women and children sheltering at a school near the Jabalia refugee camp. Eyewitnesses said Israeli forces took all the men, then entered the classrooms and opened fire on women and children. The Israeli regime has massacred over 18 thousand and six hundred Palestinians in its onslaught on Gaza since October the 7th.

Gaza health disaster

The head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees has warned that the people of Gaza are running out of time and options as the Israeli onslaught continues. Philippe Lazzarini was addressing the Global Refugee Forum in Geneva. He warned that Gaza is very far from an adequate humanitarian response. Lazzarini said he has seen people halting an aid truck and swallowing down the food found inside in the street. He said the people of Gaza are now crammed into less than one-third of the original territory near the Egyptian border and the dire situation might spark an exodus. UNRWA and many other aid organizations have already issued serious warnings about the dire conditions in Gaza. The UN humanitarian office also said Gaza faces a public health disaster due to the collapse of its health system and the spread of disease.

'Hamas ready for long war'

Press TV has conducted an exclusive interview with the representative of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas in Lebanon. Osama Hamdan elaborated on the situation of the Israeli captives in Gaza. Hamdan said the U-S and some European countries support Israel’s plan to forcibly relocate Gazans to Egypt. He added that Washington has even called on Cairo to let in two million Palestinians from Gaza, with Saudi Arabia receiving another half a million. The Hamas official said the United States has failed to win the support of Egypt and Saudi Arabia for the plan and is now pushing for the Gazans to move into southern areas inside the territory. The senior Hamas official stressed that the movement won’t give up resistance and is ready for a long fight in Gaza.
