Gaza under attack

The Israeli regime keeps pounding the Gaza Strip relentlessly, killing civilians and reducing the besieged Palestinian territory to rubble. Israeli warplanes have once again hit Gaza City as images show smoke billowing from ruined buildings. The regime says it attacked 750 targets on Friday alone, including 12 high-rise buildings. According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, nearly 1,900 Palestinians have been killed since the strikes began last Saturday. Around 1,000 are women and children. Thousands have been injured too, while more than 420,000 Gazans have been displaced. The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas says at least 13 Israelis and foreigners held by the group have been killed in Israeli air raids as well. In the meantime, human rights groups have confirmed that the regime has used white phosphorus munitions in its attacks on Gaza. The territory remains under Israel’s complete siege with no access to electricity, water, food, and medicines.

Israel Gaza onslaught

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh says hospitals in Gaza are running low on fuel and that could turn them into what he called collective cemeteries.

Slamming Israel ‘war crimes’

Iran’s foreign minister says resistance groups are prepared for all possible scenarios if Israel continues its crimes against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said the fingers of the resistance leaders are on the trigger. He added they will respond to Israel’s onslaught if the international community and the United Nations fail to deal with the regime. Amir-Abdollahian also called on the UN to investigate Israel’s war crimes in Gaza. The top Iranian diplomat also expressed Iran’s readiness to hold an extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. He added that the OIC is supposed to collect evidence for Israel’s war crimes to be submitted to international bodies. The Iranian foreign minister noted that the Palestinians’ Operation Al-Aqsa Storm proves that Israel is now in its worst situation. He also said Washington’s unwavering support for Israel is yet another indicator of the crisis the regime is facing.
