Israeli forces have gunned down yet another Palestinian during a raid targeting the city of Tulkarm in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

The fatality was caused in early Friday as the forces began targeting the Tulkarm Refugee Camp inside the city, Palestinian media outlets reported.

The victim was identified as 23-year-old Mahmoud Jihad Jarrad.

Jarrad was wounded in the chest during the raid before being transferred to a nearby hospital in a very critical condition. There he succumbed to his injuries.

The raid also wounded four more Palestinians, one of them critically.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, the Israeli forces would prevent ambulances from reaching the site to transfer the wounded to the hospital.

The casualties were caused only hours after the regime's forces similarly shot dead a Palestinian youth as part of a swoop near the city of Nablus, which is likewise located in the north of the West Bank.

The Palestinian Health Ministry named the victim as 27-year-old Amir Khalifa, saying he was shot in the head after Israeli forces stormed the village of Zawata, west of Nablus on Thursday.

According to the victim’s brother, Israeli troops shot Khalifa outside the al-Ain refugee camp, where he used to live.

Including the fatalities, the occupying regime has killed more than 200 Palestinians since the beginning of the year.
