Saudi Arabia have produced one of the great World Cup Surprises by launching an extraordinary 2nd half comeback, to beat one of the tournament favorites Argentina 2-1 in their Group C opener.

Lionel Messi’s bid to win International Football’s biggest prize in his 5th and final appearance, got off to a dream start, when he rolled-in a penalty after just 10 minutes.

However, wonderful finishes from Saleh Al-Shehri and Salem Al-Dawsari in the space of 4 minutes turned the game on its head early in the 2nd half. The Saudis then defended bravely to see-out one of the biggest results in their history, at a pulsating Lusail Stadium.
