Palestinians held a mass rally in the blockaded Gaza Strip to support al-Aqsa Mosque and al-Quds in the face of growing Israeli aggressions against the holy city.
People shouted slogans against the Israeli regime and slammed the silence of Arab countries on Israel’s crimes in al-Quds.
Tensions have been on the rise in recent weeks as extremist Israeli settlers and Israeli forces desecrated the city’s al-Aqsa mosque. Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, which organized the rally warned the Israeli regime against violations in al-Quds.
People from all walks of life gathered to express their support for resistance as the best way to defend al-Quds against Israeli attacks. Observers say the international community has failed to help Palestinians in al-Quds and turned a blind eye to Israeli violations against them.
Al-Quds is sacred to all Muslims and Palestinians consider it as the capital of their future state. Occupied by Israeli regime forces in 1967, al-Quds has been at the core of the Palestinian struggle for freedom and justice. Palestinians say that they will use all forms of resistance to protect al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy city of al-Quds.
