Iranians and devotees of Imam Khomeini are commemorating the 32nd anniversary of the founder of the Islamic Republic on June 4.

Imam Khomeini's determination to resist the US-backed Pahlavi monarchy finally resulted in the regime’s downfall in the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
