Violinist brings joy to busy Brazil hospital
As health workers attended to patients at a busy Brazil hospital on Wednesday, their ears were met with soothing sound of the violin as played by Cristiano de Andrade.
De Andrade has been volunteering his time to play in corridors at Rio de Janeiro's Semiu Hospital.
While it has been difficult to play in the hospital amid a worsening Covid pandemic in Brazil, de Andrade believes his humble violin has the power to bring a little joy to health workers and patients.
