Facilitating the youth

This episode is a brief section of Mohammed Kibriya’s speech at the Muslim American Society and the Islamic Circle of North America 18th Annual Convention in Chicago in December 2019.

Mohammed Kibriya warns that we are in the emergency room and due to what is happening in our youth society we are pumping our soul to rescue it. The reality is that our communities are struggling with various issues every day and we need an urgent action.

To do this the mentorship roles are vital but unfortunately we haven’t invested enough in human resources in our Masajid and in our institutions. We have to remember that Prophet (PBUH) he gave time to his community, understood the context and youth issues.

If anybody from Muslim communities pick one person to mentor, it helps youth hugely and that productive relationship will last for ever. He asks three things from the attendees, first make dua for your kids, make dua for our communities second get involve, go to your leadership and ask that how you can help. And three financial support. Youth need Muslims’ financial supports and this will bring the difference for our future generation.
