Last week the deadly coronavirus pandemic forced Italy’s government to shut down nonessential factories as yet another measure to halt the outbreak.

This was certainly a difficult decision, but the death toll kept rising so drastically that it seemed closing factories was something like the last resort.

Italy is Europe’s fourth-largest economy, and by shutting down its factories, it made an extremely risky decision, but when it comes to saving human’s lives, government should spare no effort.
