Hundreds of pro and anti India politicians and activists remain under what India calls 'preventive detentions' in the Indian-Administered Kashmir, months after New Delhi stripped the region of its autonomous status. The detentions have angered Kashmiris who say the Indian government is trying to manipulate public opinion in the disputed area.
