Trump a monster disguised as orange werewolf: Analyst

Rodney Shakespeare speaking to Press TV

A political expert from London says US President Donald Trump should be boycotted by people and officials in his upcoming state visit to the UK given the problems he has created over more than three years in office.

“Trump must never be welcomed in London, he is a monster disguised as some form of orange werewolf,” said Rodney Shakespeare in an interview with the Press TV on Wednesday, adding, “Trump is a blot on the political record of America which is never very good.”

Shakespeare said people in the UK have no reason to welcome someone like Trump having in mind his records in office.

“He has broken every possible agreement ... He is supporting a monstrous onslaught on the people of Yemen which has already resulted in about 60,000 deaths. He is supporting and extending the Israeli annexation of the lands of others,” said the expert.

The expert said Trump’s way of dealing with issues like North Korea nuclear disarmament and trade relations with China and the European Union has also proven to be very problematic.

Shakespeare said it was a dream to think that the UK can secure a good trade deal with Trump’s administration after it leaves the EU.

“If anybody in the UK thinks that the UK will get a favorable trade deal from Donald Trump, then they are living in Cloud cuckoo land,” he said.

He said the UK government should never trust Trump and his words while trying to get closer to the US after Brexit.

“Trump must never ever receive any welcome at all on the streets of London, If only because there is no respect in which Trump can be trusted and that includes defense, (it) includes economy, it includes politics,” said Shakespeare.

Shakespeare said that the people of the UK will show on the expected date for Trump’s visit to London that “he is a last person on earth to be welcomed here”.
