Iraq Federal Court suspends MPs’ privileges

Iraq’s Federal Court has suspended a law which grants lawmakers privileges following retirement after only one term in parliament. The decision comes at a time when pressure is mounting on the Iraqi government amid pro-reform protests across the country.
