Senators approve new commander of US forces in Afghanistan

US Senators have approved the appointment of Army General Austin Scott Miller as the new commander of US forces in Afghanistan. During his confirmation hearing, Miller endorsed Washington’s new strategy in Afghanistan but said he foresaw no end to the conflict there anytime soon. Our Kabul correspondent Amin Alemi reports on Afghans’ reaction to the appointment.
