Peruvian activists take to streets for protest against Fujimori pardon

Demonstrators and relatives of victims of the guerrilla conflict in the 1980s and 1990s protest against pardoning of former president Alberto Fujimori, in Lima

Hundreds of Peruvian human rights activists are not letting the Fujimori pardon go. They took their Tuesday’s protest in Lima into the night. It’s their fifth protest against the pardon granted to former authoritarian leader Alberto Fujimori, a decision that has deeply divided the South American country.
