Syrians committed to countering Israeli aggression: Analyst

A political commentator believes Israel’s latest missile attack on a military position in Damascus is a “violation” of Syria’s sovereignty, adding that the Syrians have every right to defend their territory.

The Syrian army fired at least four surface-to-air missiles at Israeli aircraft early Saturday after the Israeli regime launched an attack against the western countryside of Syria’s capital Damascus.

“The Syrians have a very clear message, they are not intimidated by the Israelis and they are willing to use all the means to protect their sovereignty. And whether the Israelis decide to retaliate further, I think the message is very clear. Now the situation is different today than what it used to be. The Syrians are committed to confront the Israelis,” Kamel Wazni told PressTV in an interview on Saturday.
