Terror attack in Pakistan
Pakistan is still in shock following the last Sunday terrorist attack, which left scores of people dead at a park in the city of Lahore. Western media have covered the incident in Pakistan but many believe the coverage could be described as being next to nothing compared to that given to similar attacks in the West, including in Europe and the US, which have left much fewer casualties.
CIA vs. Pentagon?
The Pentagon-backed Syrian Democratic Forces have turned against the CIA-sponsored group called Fursan al-Haq, driving them out of the town of Marea near Aleppo. Similar incidents have also been reported in the town of Azaz, a key transit point between Aleppo and the Turkish border.
Uproar over Palestinian murder
The uproar continues over an Israeli soldier’s killing of a young Palestinian at point blank while he was lying wounded on the ground a few days ago. Israel says the Palestinian wanted to stab Israeli troops. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu previously said the event does not reflect on what he described as the ethical stance of the soldier who shot and killed the Palestinian boy.
