Egypt’s voting for Israel in a UN committee sparks fierce criticism.

Egypt's representative at the United Nations on Friday voted in support of Israel's bid for membership of the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space Affairs. That was a rare move on the part of Egypt as the North African country had never voted in favor of Israel at the UN before. As our correspondent Karim Gamal el Deen reports, the vote has further tarnished the image of the government before many of its critics inside Egypt.
