Behrouz Nadjafi is a senior news anchor, simultaneous interpreter and producer of Press TV’s programs. Nadjafi is Press TV’s main interpreter, doing live speeches by the Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, the President, the Foreign Minister and other high-ranking officials. He has produced several weekly shows as well as short and long documentaries in addition to writing and editing programs’ scripts.
Nadjafi was also a co-founder and pioneer of Press TV. Having launched the international news channel in 2006, he directed Press TV’s Human Resources, International Correspondents, and Evaluation Departments. Nadjafi hired and trained the first groups of TV journalists at Press TV. He compiled and authored Press TV’s first Style Book, Reporters Directive and TV Supers instructions. He has also organized, held and taught multiple broadcast journalism and TV production workshops.
Prior to Press TV, Nadjafi was a TV news anchor and Radio announcer at IRIB.
He has been offering simultaneous interpretation services for United Nations international events and those of Iranian government organizations and private companies.
Nadjafi has also founded a number of English language institutes and departments, training instructors, writing and recording educational content for them. In parallel, he has functioned as a voice actor and dubbing manager in many TV productions and promotional content.
