Alberto García Watson is a communicator and international analyst renowned for his commitment to the Palestinian cause. In 2011, he participated in the Second Freedom Flotilla to Gaza and later served as a human shield in the Gaza Strip, collaborating with the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) to protect farmers and fishermen affected by Israeli attacks in the besieged territory.

Since 2013, García Watson has been a regular analyst for PressTV and its Spanish-language counterpart, HispanTV. From 2014 to 2015, he worked as a HispanTV correspondent in Lebanon, covering significant regional developments, including Hezbollah’s resistance against takfiri infiltrations and Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon. He also provided in-depth coverage of the speeches of Hezbollah leader Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, who was martyred in September 2024 in a terrorist attack committed by Israel.

Over the past decade, García Watson has been a speaker at numerous conferences addressing the issues of Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria. He is also a recognised expert on the Ukraine conflict and frequently contributes as a commentator on Russian media.

Since November 2024, García Watson has been serving as PressTV’s correspondent in Spain, where he currently resides. In recent years, Spain has emerged as a strong advocate for the Palestinian cause, recognising Palestine as a sovereign state and condemning the genocide in Gaza—a stance García Watson has helped amplify through his reporting and activism.

Alberto García Watson is also a columnist for digital media outlets in both Spain and internationally, consistently expressing an unequivocal anti-imperialist and anti-Zionist stance.
