Iran control over Persian Gulf
The Chief of the General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces warns that the country will never allow US warships to enter the Persian Gulf under any circumstances. Major General Ali Abdollahi said, while Trump and American officials boast about the US Navy, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic have rendered it ineffective, in a way that they don’t dare to approach Iran's territorial waters. The top Iranian military commander added that the U-S President can only dream of seeing the U-S military return to the Persian Gulf. Abdollahi added that they will take this wish to their grave. Elsewhere in his remarks, General Abdollahi pointed to Trump’s contradictory comments about the war against Iran, saying they are aimed at deceiving the world’s public opinion, including that of inside the U-S. He noted that the longer this confrontation with Iran continues, the deeper it will drag the US into the quagmire of death and destruction.

Israel West Bank raids
The West Bank is witnessing intensified military raids as the Israeli premier has threatened a full lockdown of the occupied territory following a shooting operation near Al-Khalil. The regime’s forces have raided at least 13 towns in northern West Bank, detaining dozens of Palestinians. In southern West Bank, Israeli troops ordered dozens of Palestinian families to forcibly evacuate their homes in Al-Khalil. A large military force has already been deployed, with all entry into Al-Khalil closed. Netanyahu has also promised to destroy more Palestinian homes across the Palestinian territory to make way for more Israeli settlements. Analysts say Netanyahu is using the situation to shore up support as the regime's election draws closer. Meanwhile, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying the situation in the West Bank is the result of continued Israeli escalation targeting Palestinians. On Friday, two Israeli soldiers were killed and three others injured in a shooting operation near al-Khalil. Two Palestinians allegedly carrying out the operation were also killed in the exchange of fire.
