In the heart of Iran's Qazvin province lies a treasure trove of agricultural heritage. The traditional "Baghestan" region is a vast network of orchards.

It has been recognized by the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System. The region produces some of Iran's most prized pistachios.
