Iran stance on talks with US

The leader of the Islamic Revolution says the rift between Iran and the United States is inherent, not tactical. Describing the US embassy takeover, known as Student Day in Iran, as a day of pride and victory, Ayatollah Khamenei stressed the development should remain alive in the nation’s memory. He said the 1979 takeover of the US embassy in Tehran exposed the true nature of the US government, whose embassy acted as a center for plotting against Iran. The Leader added that Iran’s dispute with the US has to do with the nature of the ruling system in Washington rather than the tactical aspect. He said the differences began decades before the revolution, that's after the 1953 coup that overthrew Iran’s elected government. Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized resilience as the solution to problems as well as boosting managerial scientific, and military capabilities. He advised the government perform its responsibilities with determination.

Iran military combat readiness

Iranian armed forces have issued a strong warning to the enemies of the nation, vowing a decisive response to any act of aggression. The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces released a statement marking the National Day of Fighting the Global Arrogance. The military announced that Iranian armed forces are fully prepared to confront any hostile move and deliver an annihilating blow to the Zionist regime in case of aggression. The military called out the United States and Israel for stoking fear and waging psychological warfare after failing on the battlefield during the 12-day war on Iran. The armed forces said Iran’s firm response to the aggression and national unity have rendered the enemy unable to strike again.

Israel Gaza ceasefire violations

The Israeli military has escalated its military operations in the Gaza Strip, violating the ceasefire agreement with Hamas again. Artillery strikes and air raids have targeted Deir al-Balah, Khan Younis, and Gaza City, destroying several buildings. Three Palestinians were killed following attacks on Rafah city in the south. Two of them, including a woman, were collecting firewood near the Al-Shakoush area. Artillery fire also hit the town of Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, while gunboats shelled Nuseirat Refugee Camp in the center of Gaza. Meanwhile, 270 bodies, including 45 Palestinian abductees, have been returned to Gaza, with only 75 of them identified. The search continues for the remaining eight bodies of Israeli captives. Israel has killed at least 236 Palestinians since October 10, when the ceasefire came into effect. The death toll from the genocidal war is nearing 69,000, with more than 170,000 others injured. This, amid a lack of medical and humanitarian supplies due to the Israeli blockade.
