Israel aggression against Yemen
The head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council has vowed revenge for the Israeli assassination of a number of the country’s ministers, including Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahwi. Mahdi al-Mashat reassured the Yemeni people that the government would develop its capabilities to confront all challenges and threats to the Arab country. He also assured the oppressed Palestinian people that it would continue its genuine support for the people of Gaza. Al-Rahwi was martyred along with a number of his fellow ministers on Thursday. They were assassinated while attending a regular government workshop to evaluate its activities and performance. A number of ministers also sustained moderate and serious injuries as a result of the aggression and are currently receiving medical care.
US-Israeli Gaza genocide
Israeli forces intensify air and artillery strikes on the besieged Gaza, killing more Palestinians, including aid seekers. In Gaza City’s Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, two displaced civilians were killed and several others injured when a tent shelter was bombed. Further strikes on the city’s al-Sudaniya area and Deir al-Balah, killed nearly 10 Palestinians, who were awaiting aid. In central Gaza, nearly half a dozen civilians were killed in airstrikes on the Al-Shati refugee camp and Gaza City’s al-Tuffah neighborhood. Earlier, a dozen civilians, including six children, were killed in two separate airstrikes west of Gaza City. seven others were killed when a residential building in the al-Rimal neighborhood was hit. Gaza’s medical sources report 10 new deaths from malnutrition, including three children, raising the toll from starvation and malnutrition to 332, including 124 children. The death toll from the Israeli genocide now exceeds 63,370, with nearly 160,000 others injured.
Anti-Natanyahoo protests
Hundreds of protesters have held another weekly rally in Tel Aviv, condemning prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s handling of the Gaza war. The protesters also demanded an immediate ceasefire deal with Hamas to secure the release of the remaining Israeli captives held in Gaza. They chanted slogans, expressing outrage over Netanyahu’s policies. Among the demonstrators were relatives of Israeli captives, who urged the regime to stop its plan for complete takeover of Gaza City. One of the demonstrators threatened that Netanyahu will be held accountable for premeditated murder if another captives is killed in the regime’s attacks. The protesters accused Netanyahu and his extremist cabinet of prioritizing their own political interests over the lives of the captives.
