Iran armed forces vigilance

Iran’s Chief of Staff of Armed Forces says the country is fully prepared to decisively confront any repeated vicious act by the US and Israel. Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi noted that Iran has no trust in the commitments and promises made by Americans and Zionists. He made the remarks during a phone call with Tajikistan’s Defense Minister, Emomali Sobirzoda. General Mousavi said the recent US-Israeli aggression against Iran proved to the world that they comply with no international norm and principle. He added that Washington and Tel Aviv did not achieve their objectives in the 12-day imposed war and received serious blows. For his part, General Sobirzoda expressed condolences for the martyrdom of a number of Iranian military officials and innocent civilians who lost their lives in the recent aggression.

US-Israel Gaza genocide

The Israeli regime presses ahead with its genocidal war on Gaza, killing scores of people since dawn.
Eight Palestinians were killed and a dozen others injured after a residential building in the Nuseirat refugee camp was bombed. Another attack on Gaza City left two civilians dead. Several people also lost their lives in a strike on a tent housing the displaced in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, southern Gaza. The death toll from the US-Israeli genocide since October 2023 has topped 60,000. Over 145,800 others have also been injured so far.

Global pressure on Israel

The Netherlands has imposed entry bans on two Israeli far-right ministers: Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben-Gvir. The Dutch foreign minister has said the two Israeli ministers repeatedly incited settler violence and called for ethnic cleansing in Gaza. In a letter to parliament, Caspar Valdekamp declared both officials persona non grata, stating their conduct undermines any prospect for peace and breaches fundamental principles of international law. In a separate development, a national security report in the Netherlands has, for the first time, identified Israel as a foreign threat. The report cites attempts by Israel to influence Dutch public opinion and political decision-making through disinformation campaigns.
