US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

The Israeli military intensifies its air and artillery strikes across Gaza, killing more Palestinian civilians in the latest round of attacks. One of the deadliest attacks killed at least five Palestinians after a house was bombed near the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. Israeli airstrikes in several parts of Gaza City also left a number of fatalities. To the south, Israel’s artillery fire killed at least four Palestinians, including a child. In northern Gaza, Israeli troops destroyed the Noura Al-Kaabi dialysis Hospital, which was the only facility providing kidney treatment to thousands of patients. Earlier on Sunday, the regime's forces fired at Palestinians attempting to reach an aid distribution center in Rafah, southern Gaza, killing nearly 40 people. They also killed another Palestinian trying to access aid near the Netzarim corridor in central Gaza. The US-Israeli genocide has claimed the lives of more than 54,400 civilians, leaving nearly 124,200 others injured. Most victims are women and children.

Gaza ceasefire talks

Hamas says it is ready to "immediately" resume indirect talks on the Gaza ceasefire, as mediators pledge to step up efforts toward a truce in the war-torn territory. In its statement, Hamas said the new round of talks should be focused on resolving key points of contention. It added that any agreement must ensure relief aid for the people of Gaza, and lead to a permanent ceasefire and a full withdrawal of Israeli forces. The statement came after the group rejected a ceasefire proposal by US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, which Hamas said failed to address the Palestinian people's major demands. The movement added that Witkoff’s position towards the movement was “unfair” and showed “complete bias” towards Israel. Hamas rejected a temporary ceasefire that ends after 60 days, reiterating that the resistance's weapons are not open for negotiation. A previous ceasefire collapsed in mid-March after Israel refused to proceed to a planned second phase and resumed its aggression against Gaza.

Yemen supporting Palestine

The Yemeni army says it has launched fresh retaliatory operations against Israeli targets deep inside the occupied Palestinian territories. Saree said the Yemeni Armed Forces are also working to impose a complete ban on air traffic at Ben Gurion Airport. He said the remaining airlines that have not yet complied with the ban should take this into consideration to preserve the safety of their aircraft and customers. Meanwhile, Yemen’s President and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces warned all companies investing in occupied Palestine to take the warning seriously and leave as quickly as they can. Mahdi al-Mashat said companies that remain in the occupied land after the Yemeni warning must bear the consequences of their insistence and assume responsibility for any losses they may suffer.
