Iran’s right to enrichment

Iran will never submit to hegemonic demands of depriving the country of its rights. That’s according to Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. This as the collective West continues to accuse the Islamic Rebpulic of not abiding by its nuclear commitments.

There is much irony in all of this as it was the United States that left a 2015 nuclear agreement with Iran. Besides, it was the Europeans, who did not abide by their part of the same agreement, whereas Tehran stayed on with the agreement even after the US had left it.

So what is all this about? This edition of Spotlight looks at all this with Saeb Shaath, author and West Asia expert from Belfast, and Ali Hamie, writer and political analyst out of south Lebanon.
