US-Israeli Gaza genocide

The Israeli military keeps slaughtering more Palestinian civilians in Gaza as it intensifies attacks against the war-ravaged territory. A Palestinian was killed and several others injured in an Israeli drone strike targeting tents of displaced people near the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. Several Palestinians were also killed in an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in Jabalia al-Nazla, northern Gaza. Journalist Hassan Majdi Abu Warda and several of his family members were among those killed. To the south, the Israeli artillery shelling of several areas, including the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, killed and injured a number of Palestinians. According to Gaza officials, the death toll from the US-Israeli genocide since October 2023 has surpassed 53,900, with nearly 122,600 others injured. Most of the victims are women and children.

Yemen anti-Israel operation

Yemen’s Armed Forces have reportedly launched another missile attack on Israel’s targets in the occupied territories in solidarity with Palestinians. Sirens were sounded in Al-Quds, south of the occupied territories as well as settlements in the occupied West Bank following the missile attack. The strike caused the suspension of flights to and from Israel’s Ben Gurion airport. The airport has been the target of Yemen’s attacks in recent weeks. The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to impose a complete aerial blockade on Israel by repeatedly targeting the regime’s airports. The Yemeni military started their operations against Israel in late 2023, shortly after the regime unleashed its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

Russia-Ukraine war

At least 12 Ukrainians have been killed and some two dozen others injured in overnight Russian attacks, as the two sides engage in intensified exchanges of fire. The attacks struck Ukraine’s western and southern regions, including Kherson. The capital Kiev was also targeted for a second consecutive night. Meanwhile, Russian officials say the military has intercepted a dozen Ukrainian drones flying towards the Capital, Moscow. Russia earlier accused Ukraine of launching a massive drone attack against non-military targets in Moscow and vowed to retaliate. The latest exchanges come as the two sides pursue their biggest prisoner swap since the war began back in February 2022. The exchange was agreed upon during talks in Turkey last week. The negotiations, however, failed to secure a ceasefire.
