For decades, Iran has tried to run a respected, independent, and sovereign state devoid of foreign dictates and interference. Since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the country has been the constant target of extreme Western hostilities, and has not been given a chance to operate without machinations working to undermine its very existence.
In spite of all this, Iran has never abandoned its diplomatic drive to engage with regional and transcontinental partners and organizations to establish itself as a serious global actor in international affairs.
Iran has time and again proved it sees the only righteous path as the path of diplomacy and collaboration and not of war and confrontation. This steadfast commitment is the focus of our Spotlight program.
