Hassan Nasrallah funeral

People in Lebanon hold a massive funeral ceremony for the late Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. Lebanese from across the Arab country gathered in the capital Beirut en masse to pay their respects to the martyred secretary general of the movement. Nasrallah's coffin was shown to the public at the Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium, where people bid farewell to their beloved Hezbollah leader. Attendees have also paid their respects to Hashem Safieddin, the former head of the movement’s executive council who had replaced Nasrallah after his martydom. Nasrallah’s body will be taken to the town of Tyre, where he will be laid to rest alongside other senior Hezbollah commanders. Delegates from around the world have taken part in the funeral ceremony. An Iranian delegation, headed by parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, and Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi were also in attendance.

Resistance agianst occupation

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution says resistance against occupation, tyranny and hegemony is unending. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the enemy must know that resistance will continue until it achieves its objectives. Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a message on the occasion of the funeral ceremony for Hezbollah leaders Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyyed Hashem Safieddine. The Leader said Nasrallah’s path and spirit will grow more honorable everyday. Ayatollah Khamenei also hailed Safieddine as the close ally and inseparable part of resistance leadership in Lebanon. 

Israel Gaza ceasfire violations

Israeli strikes claim more Palestinians lives in the Gaza Strip despite a ceasefire agreement with Hamas.  Health officials in Gaza have announced the death of 10 more Palestinians in the territory. The authorities say seven bodies have been recovered from the rubble; two people were killed in Israel’s strikes while another Palestinian succumbed to injuries sustained in the regime’s attacks. With the new fatalities, Palestinian death toll from Israeli attacks in Gaza since October 2023 rises to 48,329. The health officials say a number of victims are still beneath the rubble and on the roads, where ambulances and civil defense crews cannot reach.
