Gaza ceasefire deal

More Palestinian dead bodies are being recovered from under the rubble in the Gaza strip as Israel continues to violate the ceasefire. According to Palestinian health officials 14 bodies have been recovered on Thursday alone. At least 3 Palestinian have also been killed in the past 24 hours. Gaza’s health ministry says the total death toll now stands at over 48,200, with nearly 111,700 injured since the beginning of Israel’s genocide in October 2023. Most of the victims are women and children. The Israeli onslaught has destroyed much of Gaza’s vital infrastructure and it is estimated that over 14,000 people are still under the rubble. Israel has restricted delivery of heavy machinery to remove the rubble.

Yemen supports Palestine

The Leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement has issued a stern warning to the US and Israel regarding their Gaza displacement plan. Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said Yemen would launch missile and drone attacks, as well as naval operations, in response to any renewed assaults on Gaza. He also vowed to respond militarily if Israel violates the ceasefire this weekend over the captive exchange. He urged Arab and Muslim nations to strongly reject the US president’s displacement plan, stating that America seeks to act against the interests of their countries and peoples. He warned that approving the US plan would have very serious consequences for Arab national security and the entire region.

Israel West Bank aggression

The International Federation for Human Rights has raised the alarm about forced displacements in the occupied West Bank, as Israel continues its violent military operation there. The rights organization reported that Israel’s “Iron Wall” operation has led to the displacement of 45,000 Palestinians in the north of the occupied territory, calling for serious global pressure on Israeli authorities to put an end to deadly campaign. It said the current situation in the West Bank is the worst since the second Intifada. The international NGO highlighted that the Israeli occupying forces have employed extremely brutal methods to empty refugee camps, including destroying Palestinian houses and infrastructure and using aerial attacks to kill Palestinians.
