Failed US policy reinstated
US President Donald Trump is back in the White House for a second term and has signed an executive order for the re-imposition of his so-called maximum pressure campaign against Tehran. A policy which had as one of its major objectives to drive Iran’s oil exports down to zero, which it never did. It also aimed to weaken Iran militarily and politically, which it never did, either.
