US-Israel genocide in Gaza
The Israeli regime presses head with its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, killing more Palestinian civilians despite reports of an imminent ceasefire deal. 62 Palestinians were killed in the past 24 hours. Several children were among those who lost their lives. In another attacks, the regime’s forces killed at least six people and injured seven others in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. The victim included the head of the nursing department at Al-Awda Hospital. Earlier, Israeli attacks overnight killed three in the Bureij refugee camp and seven at a school-turned-shelter in Gaza City. The fatalities push the overall death toll in Gaza to more than 46,600 since Israel launched its war on the besieged territory. Over 110,000 others have been injured.
Yemeni retaliation
The Yemeni Army says it has carried out a new retaliatory operation targeting the American war vessel USS Harry S. Truman and a number of its accompanying warships in the Red Sea.
Iran naval might
The Islamic Republic of Iran Navy has received the first home-grown intelligence vessel named Zagros in its fleet. During the inauguration ceremony, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri called it an important breakthrough. Describing the destroyer as the watchful eye of the Iranian naval forces, Bagheri said the ship is equipped with advanced military and intelligence technologies. The Zagros is the most modern destroyer equipped with advanced technology. It is designed for both combat and intelligence missions. It was built by the efforts of Iranian youth and elites, meeting the intelligence needs of the country’s naval forces in line with maritime security.
