The Israeli air and artillery strikes rage on across Gaza claiming more Palestinian lives across the blockaded territory. In one of the recent attacks, at least three people were killed and several others injured as Israeli warplanes bombed a residential building in al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza city. The Israeli air raid on a Palestinian home in al-Zaytoun neighborhood left also casualties. The regime’s artillery also shelled a number of areas across Gaza, leaving an unknown number of Palestinians dead and injured. The Israeli aggression against Gaza began in October 2023. Since then, over 46,000 people have been killed and over 109,000 others injured.
California wildfires
And now to the devastating wildfires in the United States! Officials say the death toll from the infernos in the Los Angeles area has risen to eleven. Approximately 153,000 residents have also been ordered to evacuate as the fires continue to rage. Reports indicate that over 12,300 buildings have been destroyed, and authorities fear that both the death toll and property damage will continue to climb. Meanwhile a nighttime curfew is established in regions affected by the catastrophic blazes. The Los Angeles County Sheriff has made it clear that breaching the curfew will result in misdemeanor charges. This as many now in the US are blaming the government mismanagement as the main reason behind the death and destruction that has ravaged the country.
