Yemeni people in the provinces of Sana'a and Sa'ada have held mass rallies in support of Gaza and Lebanon, celebrating the Lebanese resistance's "historic" victory against Israel.
Million-strong demonstration in Sana'a and Sa'ada on Friday featured slogans such as "With Gaza to Victory!", "Congratulations to Lebanon on Their Victory!", and "The occupation is waning."
They carried the flags of Yemen, Palestine, Lebanon and resistance as well as photos of the assassinated resistance leaders.
A statement that followed the protests, hailed the ceasefire as a "historic victory" for Hezbollah.
The Yemeni protesters reaffirmed their unwavering support for the people of Palestine in Gaza in the face of the Zionist regime's tyranny until victory.
The statement reiterated that Yemen would never stop its support for Palestine.
Yemenis also condemned the Israeli regime’s continued crimes and genocidal war against the people of Gaza and also denounced the United States and European states for supporting the regime.
They urged world nations to fulfill their religious, moral and human responsibility to support the Palestinian people.
Ever since the onset of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, the Yemeni forces have carried out scores of operations in support of the war-hit Gazans, striking targets throughout the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to targeting Israeli ships or vessels heading towards ports in the occupied territories.
The attacks have forced some of the world’s biggest shipping and oil companies to suspend transit through one of the world’s most important maritime trade routes.
Tankers are instead adding thousands of miles to international shipping routes by sailing around the continent of Africa rather than going through the Suez Canal.
Yemen says it will continue to back Palestinians until the ongoing genocide comes to an end.
