More Gazans slaughtered
More Palestinians have fallen victim to the Israeli killing campaign in the Gaza Strip. At least 76 civilians have lost their lives and 158 were wounded in the Israeli attacks on Gaza during the past day. Northern Gaza remains the focus of attacks. Local sources in Beit Lahia said at least 17 people were killed when IOF bombed a house near Kamal Adwan Hospital. International charity, Doctors without Borders, says its Gaza clinics have reported a huge increase in the number of newly displaced Palestinians. Gaza Health Ministry announced that the Palestinian death toll has passed 43,900, most of them women and children. Nearly 104,000 others have been injured.
IOF soldiers, tanks targeted
The Palestinian resistance has inflicted more casualties and material losses on intruding Israeli forces in Gaza. The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced hitting a Merkava tank in Beit Lahia, north of Gaza, using Al-Yassin anti-armor missiles. They also attacked a group of 12 Israeli occupation forces in the same area. In another Beit Lahia operation, a Qassam sniper targeted 5 Israeli troopers. According to information released by the Israeli military, 798 IOF soldiers have been killed since early October last year. Resistance groups say the actual number is much higher.
Hezbollah reprisal ops
The Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah says its fighters have targeted several Israeli positions in a series of fresh retaliatory strikes. Barrages of rockets were fired at gatherings of soldiers in the Israeli Barracks of Margeliot and the Yaara, as well as the Kiryat Shmona settlement. Hezbollah has also reported rocket attacks on settlements of Husen and Kiram Ben Zemra for the very first time. The Israeli military announced some 60 rockets have crossed from Lebanon into the occupied territories. Hezbollah says the attacks are in support of the Palestinian people and in defense of Lebanon. Israel recently intensified its aerial strikes on Lebanon and launched a ground invasion of the country. Since last October, Israeli attacks have killed nearly 3,500 people and injured some 14,800 others.
