Condemning Israel aggression
Iran's permanent ambassador to the United Nations has strongly condemned Israel's recent aggression against the country as a blatant breach of international law and the UN Charter. Iravani said the unwavering and unconditional support provided by the United States to Israel has emboldened the regime to persist in its crimes and aggressions. He added that Israel’s acts of aggression pose a grave threat to regional and international peace and security. Iravani also slammed some Security Council members for failing to condemn Israel’s illegal actions while asking Iran to restrain itself and ignore its right to self-defense. Warning that the international community must not remain silent in the face of Israel’s violations, he stressed that the regime’s impunity perpetuates a vicious cycle of violence and instability across the region. Iravani called on the Council to condemn Israel’s actions unequivocally and hold it accountable for its violations of international law. He noted that Iran reserves its inherent right to respond at a time of its choosing to Israel’s act of aggression.
Hezbollah retaliation
The Hezbollah resistance movement has carried out a new round of anti-Israel operations, targeting the regime’s forces and settlements with drones and rockets. In their latest operations, Hezbollah's fighters hit an Israeli navy base near Haifa with rockets. They also struck the Ras Naqoura naval site with drones. Israel’s Meron air control base was hit with Hezbollah’s rockets. Resistance fighters also fired rocket salvos at gathering points of the regime’s soldiers both in Lebanon and several Israeli settlements. In addition, they destroyed another Merkava tank with a guided missile, leaving its crew dead or wounded. At least, half a dozen settlements were struck by Hezbollah’s rockets as well. The Israeli army admitted that Hezbollah fired 115 rockets at the regime’s military sites and settlements on Monday alone.
Yemen retaliatory operations
The Yemeni army says it has carried out new operations against Israel-related ships in nearby waters, successfully hitting all the targets. Army Spokesman, Yahya Saree, said the first operation targeted the ship "SC MONTREAL" in the Arabian Sea with two drones. The second operation hit another ship with a cruise missile, also in the Arabian Sea. The third Yemeni operation targeted an Israel-bound vessel in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab, with a number of ballistic missiles. Saree said anti-Israel operations will only stop after the regime ends its blockade and onslaught on Gaza, and its aggression against Lebanon. Yemen has been conducting operations against Israel-related, as well as American and British ships, in support of Palestinians in Gaza and in retaliation for US and UK’s aggression on its soil since a year ago.
