Hundreds of people attended a symbolic funeral prayer in Istanbul on Saturday, October 19, for Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, who was killed by Israel this week.
The group marched to Sarachane Park in central Istanbul, where they held a funeral prayer. They later chanted anti-Israel slogans. Attendants said they were there to commemorate Sinwar's martyrdom.
Sinwar served as chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau since the Israeli regime assassinated Ismail Haniyeh in July.
