200 days of Israeli war on Gaza and 200 headlines whitewashing genocide

As Israel’s genocidal onslaught on Gaza completes 200 days, killing more than 34,000 Palestinians, the disinformation campaign unleashed by the Western media continues at a frightening pace.

Headlines in Western media since October 7, when the Tel Aviv regime launched indiscriminate bombings on the besieged Palestinian territory, have sought to downplay and even whitewash the regime's abhorrent crimes while portraying victims as villains.

We put together 200 headlines published in various Western news outlets that either blatantly lied about the events unfolding in Gaza to vilify Palestinians and the resistance groups or manipulated the truth to hide or whitewash crimes committed by the regime. 

For instance, even with no evidence to substantiate it and multiple independent media outlets debunking it, the allegation of sexual abuse against Hamas is still taken seriously by mainstream media outlets. 

With "prestigious" Western media outlets with massive following becoming mouthpieces for the regime, truth has become the main casualty in this war, which completed 200 days on Tuesday. 

Here are some of the headlines that reveal how the truth about what’s unfolding in Gaza has been purposefully distorted by Western media in the past 200 days to push a certain agenda.

Most of these headlines, in a sinister way, make the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza look like an even contest between two warring sides, while some go a step ahead to paint the perpetrator as a victim.
