The US and Israel are more isolated than ever.
On the final day of the ICJ hearings on the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories, more than 50 countries called on the court to rule the occupation by the Zionist entity illegal. The only country defending Israel, you guessed it, the United States.
With exactly a month since the UNs highest court made their interim ruling and demanded Israel submit a report within a month to give an update on the progress it made in preventing genocide in Gaza.
There are yet no signs that Tel Aviv has complied. In another move that will be sticking two fingers up to not just the global courts, but the global community, Israel continues to show its contempt for international bodies, especially the United Nations.
It is a position made clear by the bodys rights chief who has spoken of the threats, intimidation and propaganda that has been waged against the organisation. Efforts for a ceasefire are ongoing, yet apartheid Israels Benjamin Netanyahu has reiterated that the planned incursion into Rafah will go ahead despite any intensification being called a final nail in the coffin for aid distribution in the besieged enclave.
Against these different machinations, hundreds of thousands in Rafah are braced for the worse whilst those left behind in the north are in dire straits, being forced to exist in nightmarish fashion.
