Global failure
The US and Israel are becoming more isolated by the day. In a vote in the UN General assembly, in search of a ceasefire, Washington and Tel Aviv surrounded by vassal states of the US voted no. No to cessation of violence! No to saving the lives of more Palestinian children! No to Israel being checked on its genocidal campaign! No to humanity!
On the international stage, its becoming ever harder for Biden to back Netanyahu's murderous campaign. Even the usual Western allies like Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the EU are breaking cover and asking for a humanitarian pause.
The UN's inability to do more than express gestures of symbolism is making it more obsolete, more unfit for purpose. But the grassroots continue to fight for the rights of the oppressed. The global majority wants to see justice for Palestine and the Palestinian resistance is making sure their people are around to receive it.
