Magnitude 6.7 quake hits southern Philippines

A magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck the southern Philippines on Friday.

One person was killed and dozens were injured, authorities said.

In General Santos City, on the southern tip of Mindanao island, residents watched as water in a garden pond sloshed and stirred as the ground shook.
