Four months into the Sudan conflict, there is still no end in sight to the deadly violence there.
The fighting which started in mid-April, has now expanded to other cities and regions, including South Darfur where in a recent attack, some 40 people, most of them civilians were killed by shelling.
The violence has prompted army chief General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan to seek regional help in an effort to bring the deadly conflict to an end.
